You had plans. Pregnancy wasn't one of them. You have questions and need answers.
Missing your period may be upsetting if you are not planning a pregnancy. But, if you are sexually active, it is possible to become pregnant and it is important to confirm pregnancy with an accurate pregnancy test.
Here are some common signs of pregnancy, but please be aware that there are other medical conditions that can cause these symptoms:
- Missed periods
- Spotting
- Tender breasts
- Fatigue/Tiredness
- Nausea/Morning sickness
- Backaches
- Headaches
- Frequent urination
- Darkening of nipples
- Food cravings or food aversions
- Dizziness
A pregnancy test is your first step in the verification of a possible pregnancy. Marisol offers free pregnancy testing at our medical clinics.
- Conducted by Registered Nurses or trained staff
- Lab quality
- 99% accurate
- More sensitive than home pregnancy tests
If your test is positive, our Nurses/staff will help you determine how far along you may be. You will need to know the first day of your last period even though conception is usually two weeks later. You will be given an estimated due date based on your last menstrual cycle. From there you may qualify for a complimentary verification ultrasound, which will give you a more accurate measurement of the gestational age of your pregnancy. This information can be very helpful as you make a decision because it can tell you what options are available to you.
