Trauma Intervention

What is Trauma-Informed Care?

Trauma-informed approaches recognize how past experiences can affect emotional well-being and help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout the healing process.

Methods of Trauma Intervention

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a brain-body therapy that helps individuals process and heal from trauma, anxiety, stress, and other emotional challenges by identifying specific eye positions that connect to areas of the brain where difficult experiences are stored. By accessing these deeper emotional and physiological responses in a safe, supportive environment, Brainspotting can help reduce distress, increase resilience, and support lasting healing and personal growth.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals heal from trauma by helping the brain reprocess difficult memories in a safe and structured way. Through guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, EMDR allows individuals to process experiences that may feel “stuck,” reducing emotional distress and helping them develop healthier thoughts, feelings, and responses. EMDR can help clients find relief from symptoms, increase resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and emotional well-being.

Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)

Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) is an evidence-based therapy for young children and their caregivers that strengthens the parent-child relationship while helping families heal from trauma, stress, loss, and other challenging life experiences. Through play, connection, and supportive guidance, CPP helps children feel safe and understood, enhances emotional regulation, and promotes healthy attachment and development.

Support and Care After Pregnancy Loss

Support and Care After Pregnancy Loss: You do not have to face this loss alone. Pregnancy loss can bring deep pain, and emotional healing may take longer than physical recovery. Whatever you are feeling is valid, and there is no right way or set timeline for grieving. Your pregnancy and your loss matter, and your healing journey is uniquely your own. Our team has completed specialized training through the Institute of Reproductive Grief Care, and our clinics have earned our Clinic Designation, reflecting our commitment to a consistent standard of respectful, whole-person support.
